NOVEMBER 24/25 – DECEMBER 9TH, 2018 – ST. VINCENT DE PAUL CHRISTMAS FOOD BASKETS The St. Raphael St. Vincent De Paul Chapter collects food for their Annual Christmas Basket Food Drive. Baskets go to the families in need that reside in the zip codes ending with 03, 04, 05, 06, 08, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18, 19,& 20. Collection bins are in the church Narthex until December 9th. Other items will be placed into the basket to complete the meal. The St. Vincent De Paul is looking for the following to be donated: Peanut Butter, Tuna, Canned Vegetables, Canned Fruit, Pasta & Pasta Sauce, Rice, Macaroni & Cheese, Hamburger/Tuna Helper. Thank you for your generous support!
NOVEMBER 24/25 – DECEMBER 14/15, 2018 – ST. RAPHAEL ANGEL TREE This annual tradition provided 300 children gifts in 2017. The trees will be in the church Narthex beginning the weekend of November 24th/25th. Please follow this instructions when selecting your Angel: 1.) Select Angel from tree. 2.) Sign out the Angel on the log provided and include your phone number. 3.) Return Wrapped gift to the trees by December 8/9 or 14/15 weekend. As always, thank you for your ministry to those in need in our community!
DECEMBER 2, 9, 16, & 23, 2018 – ADORATION OF THE BLESSED SACRAMENT AND RECONCILIATION All Sundays in Advent at St. Raphael Church from 7:00 pm – 8:00 pm.
DECEMBER 8, 2018 – THE IMMACULATE CONCEPTION OF THE BLESSED VIRGIN MARY Mass at 9 am A Holy Day of Obligation in the Roman Catholic Church are feast days on which Catholics are required to attend mass and to avoid servile work. The observance of Holy Days of Obligation is part of the Sunday Duty, the first of the Precepts of the Church, and are listed in Canon 1246 of the 1983 Code of Canon Law. Holy Days of Obligation are days other than Sundays on which Catholics are required to participate in Mass, the primary form of worship. If you believe you have a valid reason for not attending Holy Mass, such as
1. serious illness,
2. a disability, such as being unable to walk,
3. the Church is located at a great distance and you have no means of transportation,
4. to pay for a taxi or public transit to attend Holy Mass would cause great financial hardship,
5. or other valid reasons.

FEBRUARY 9, 2019 – ST. RAPHAEL MEN’S CLUB 19TH ANNUAL TRIVIA NIGHT Are you good at trivia or at least 7 friends that can work together to answer trivia questions? If your answer is yes, then, you won’t want to miss this evening! Join us for the annual Men’s Club Trivia Night on February 9, 2019 beginning at 7:30 pm (Doors open at 6:00 pm).
Tables of 8 test their knowledge of trivia
Prizes will be awarded to the teams with the most trivia knowledge.
There will also be a prize for the team with the best table decorations and costumes (Please keep it G rated).
Refreshments will be furnished (bring your own meal if you wish).
$200 per Table (There is currently a waiting list)
