St. Raphael 75th Anniversary:  Book Club

Our next book club meeting with be Monday September 25th in the Media Center. We will be reading A PEARL IN THE STORM: HOW I FOUND MY HEART IN THE MIDDLE OF OCEAN by Tori Murden McClure. You can order from Amazon for around $10 or used from Amazon for even less.

Tori is a Louisvillian, an athlete, adventurer, chaplain, lawyer, and university administrator who was the first woman and first American to row solo across the Atlantic Ocean. She was also the first woman and first American to ski to the geographic South Pole and the first woman to climb the Lewis Nunatak in the Antarctic..This is a great book and the bonus is Dr. McClure is going to attend our meeting to speak with us about the book! We need your help with our Decades Photo Wall

If you have photos you would like to contribute to our Decades Photo Wall in the narthex, please submit a physical copy to the parish office or send a digital copy to carlahraque@gmail.com.  We need photos for the ‘80s, ’90, 2000s, 10s, and 20s.  Please include as much information as possible - date, event, names. Photos not used on the wall will be posted at our closing celebration in October.  *Photos will not be returned, so please send copies.
