Reverend Father Tony Cecil

Administrator

Fr. Tony grew up just outside of Elizabethtown, Kentucky. He attended Bethlehem High School in Bardstown, and after graduating in 2011, entered seminary for the Archdiocese of Louisville.

He attended Bishop Simon Brute College Seminary at Marian University in Indianapolis, Indiana. He graduated in 2015 with a Bachelor of Arts in Catholic Studies. Fr. Tony continued seminary formation at Saint Meinrad Seminary and School of Theology in St. Meinrad, Indiana. In 2019, he graduated with a Master of Divinity (M.Div.) from Saint Meinrad and a Baccalaureate of Sacred Theology (S.T.B.) from the Pontifical Athenaeum of Saint Anselm in Rome.

Fr. Tony was ordained to the priesthood by Archbishop Joseph E. Kurtz on May 25, 2019 at the Cathedral of the Assumption. He has previously served as the Associate Pastor of Epiphany Catholic Church and Saint Martin de Porres Catholic Church (2019-2022).

In 2022, Fr. Tony was appointed the Administrator of Saint Raphael the Archangel Catholic Church by Archbishop Shelton J. Fabre. In addition to his ministry at Saint Raphael, Fr. Tony is also the Chaplain of Sacred Heart Academy, and is part of the Mathis Liturgical Leadership Program at the McGrath Institute for Church Life at the University of Notre Dame.
